Who Are OFQUAL, WHAT DO THEY DO?

OFQUAL, The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation is a non-ministerial government department.

They regulate qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.

Ofqual reports directly to Parliament.

Their role is to  ensure quality and  standards that meet the needs of both employers and learners.

Training centres will need to be approved by the awarding body and work with them to ensure delivery of qualifications is sufficient and that activities are carried out and designed to assure the quality of the qualification that is awarded.
